"Endure it!"
Flossie Wright said irritably.
Glenn Hutchinson obediently stopped talking.
The painkillers had a certain anesthetic effect, but couldn’t compare to real anesthesia, so they could only minimally ease Glenn’s pain.
Using the Night Vision Goggles, Flossie Wright held her breath and calmly treated Glenn’s wounds.
The wound had split open, and the blood kept flowing uncontrollably; Flossie was not a professional doctor, so she could only give Glenn a rough treatment.
Disinfecting, stitching, bandaging.
Several times, Glenn wanted to speak, but was stopped by Flossie’s cold gaze.
Helplessly, he let her proceed.
"After giving them the address, go get some sleep."
Having treated Glenn’s injuries, Flossie spoke to him with a cold expression.
Not a hint of warmth could be seen around her eyes or brows.
Glenn helplessly chuckled.
He knew her displeasure and repressed tone were because he was injured, and her forceful command for him to rest was simply to ensure he got some peace and quiet.
At a time like this, Glenn wouldn’t argue with her.
He followed her instructions, contacted the other teams, sent out the coordinates, and then rested nearby.
Flossie handled the aftermath, concealing traces of the bodies. The entire night was almost non-stop.
Twenty people, twenty corpses; for Flossie, who wasn’t accustomed to dealing with aftermaths, it was thoroughly exhausting.
Glenn had slept less than an hour before waking. Wanting to help Flossie, but each time he tried to get up, Flossie gave him a threatening cold glance.
Utter helplessness.
Others might criticize him for not helping, but not Flossie; she was worried he might provoke her.
In the end, Glenn simply allowed her to continue and sat by watching the scene.
By the second half of the night, Flossie noticed and directly sent him off to rest further away.
Not even giving him the chance to watch.
Until five in the morning.
Flossie finished dealing with all the traces.
Initially concerned about other patrol teams, she reconsidered—there was no way a drug trafficking gang had that many people; sending twenty for patrol was already extravagant, so they didn’t run into any more gang members that night.
After sorting everything out, when Flossie found Glenn, he was inspecting weapons, making her eyebrow twitch.
"Did you rest?"

Walking straight up to Glenn, Flossie asked coldly.
Fluidly loading a magazine, Glenn lifted his eyelid and glanced at Flossie, "Just woke up."
Flossie curiously examined the guns in his hand.
Three guns, all checked, even the military knife was polished clean.
Just woke up?
Who would believe that?
Yet, such an unrealistic lie clearly served as a mutual pretense; Flossie wouldn’t really do anything to Glenn.
"Where are they?"
Cross-legged, Flossie sat opposite Glenn and asked casually.
"Almost here." Glenn replied simply.
He had contacted them ten minutes ago.
This jungle was vast, but manpower was scarce; coupled with Aaron Doom’s team’s rapid movement, they had traveled far in six to seven hours.
Reaching here would take some time.
But, it wasn’t too far off.
