Rogue! Scoundrel!
Blue veins bulging at her temples, Flossie Wright spat in disgust.
This isn’t some domineering, cold-blooded Instructor. He’s just a shameless rogue!
She slightly tilted her head, squinting her eyes, a flash of murderous intent sliding through her pupils.
Glenn Hutchinson, however, didn’t take her threat seriously. Matching her gaze, he coolly pointed out, "Assaulting an officer is a serious crime."
Flossie’s hands clenched tightly.
Immediately after, she let go.
"Fine, officer, have it your way!" Flossie didn’t bother resisting anymore, exuding a sense of resigned frustration. "You want to punish me militarily?"
Having spent years wandering, Flossie had learned many things. Among them was a keen sense of timing. If a frontal assault wasn’t feasible, she’d simply take a detour. Occasionally admitting defeat was no big deal, begrudging grievances could always be resolved later, steadily, as opportunities arose.
After all, every day brings new possibilities!
"Hmm," Glenn Hutchinson chuckled, watching the bristly kitten afore him, a calculating glint in his eyes. "Our purchaser?"
"What do you want?" Flossie gritted her teeth to ask.
"Add another ten kg on your arm and," Glenn Hutchinson casually released her, adjusting the cap she was wearing. "Tell your team leader to include late-night snacks henceforth."
"...Alright."
Flossie agreed readily, but squeezed out a vicious smile on her face, her gaze sharp as knives darting towards Glenn, wishing she could rip him to pieces.
As soon as she agreed, Flossie, no longer wishing to engage with him, directly turned around and walked away, not sparing another glance at him.
Glenn Hutchinson stood there, arms crossed, watching her figure recede into the distance, an amused smile tugging at his lips.
"Clang, clang..."
The sound of pot beating resounded on time in the cooking class. Though the human-induced rhythm was a tad chaotic, the noise was exceptionally loud.
Yvonne Watson woke up somewhat late today, entirely forgetting about Flossie’s presence. She put on her clothes and rushed out, but as she reached where the tricycle used for shopping was parked, she saw a shadow next to it, which scared her to the point her heart raced.
"Flo...Flossie..."
As the lights from the cooking class gradually lit up, Yvonne, using the dim light, recognized the person standing by the tricycle. Her racing heart gradually calmed down, but her fear didn’t entirely dissipate.
Flossie was leaning against the tricycle, dressed in inconspicuous camouflage uniform; her cap was pulled down to hide her eyes. Her exquisite face half hidden in the darkness, leaving only her silhouette in the light. Devoid of any warmth or ease, yet there was a mysterious air about her, hiding unknown factors that set her heart to thump.
However, the moment Flossie looked up, Yvonne felt a breathtaking pain, as if something was directly stabbing her heart. The impending danger made her scalp tingle, terrified to the core.
"Let’s go."

Soon enough, Flossie retracted her gaze, speaking indifferently, leaving the tricycle behind and walking on without looking back.
Only a few steps after she left, Yvonne realized her whole body was shaking. Looking at the tricycle, she didn’t dare call Flossie to help, so she started pushing the tricycle by herself, maintaining a certain distance from Flossie.
For some reason, Yvonne’s intuition told her Flossie was more dangerous than Becca Reyes. This thought terrified her to her core, so much that she didn’t dare to ponder the consequences. She was instinctively afraid.
Yvonne was almost scared the entire way, until they nearly reached the Vegetable Market. She suddenly remembered she intended to let Flossie undertake the task of buying groceries. Yet until now, she hadn’t come up with a suitable excuse. Could it be, she had to go shopping with Flossie?
However, Flossie didn’t seem to have any similar intentions.
"Go buy the groceries, I have some stuff to do."
Glancing at the market, Flossie spoke firmly and calmly, not leaving Yvonne any chance to object. She leisurely left.
Watching Flossie’s retreating figure, Yvonne opened her mouth to speak but couldn’t utter a word, nearly collapsing on the spot.
On this side, leaving Yvonne behind, Flossie took a detour to a shop that sold Load-bearing Lead Blocks. She walked in with an air of menace.
As for the Shopkeeper who smilingly greeted his first customer, his face turned ghostly pale as he recognized her figure.
"How... how come it’s you again?!"
The shopkeeper wailed.
