A crowd of people set off, a mighty procession.
At 3:30 in the afternoon, they arrived early at the agreed pub.
Though still in business, the pub appeared somewhat rundown, but compared to this desolate main street, it was a rather conspicuous presence.
Just as they reached the entrance, they heard the lively and noisy sounds coming from inside.
Flossie Wright and her group got out of the car and swaggered in.
The space inside wasn’t large, and several Mercenary Corps had already arrived before them. As soon as this crowd walked in, they could feel numerous pairs of eyes sweeping over them, scrutinizing and evaluating, with some even filled with outright hostility. Meanwhile, Anonymous’s group didn’t flinch, each standing straight with not even a furrowed brow.
"So many Mercenary Corps?" Rowdy Brightwill leaned closer to Flossie Wright, asking somewhat puzzled.
For these upright soldiers who had just arrived, they truly didn’t understand the situation here.
Flossie Wright withdrew her gaze from her surroundings, then looked straight ahead, her voice low, "It’s considered few."
There would always be a few wealthy individuals who, occasionally due to a lack of manpower or for other reasons, would recruit some Mercenary Corps. However, due to the scale or strength of some Mercenary Corps, people felt uneasy, so they would invite multiple Mercenary Corps to cooperate together.
For Mercenary Corps without previous enmity, cooperation wouldn’t naturally be an issue, but there would just be more conflicts between them.
However, with enough money, any problem could be solved. As long as the client was willing to pay, they could do anything.
As Mercenaries, they gambled with their lives; if they won, they enjoyed the money, and if they lost... the outcomes could be terribly grim.
Flossie Wright recalled that the last time she met Glenn Hutchinson, it was in a similar setting.
That bastard played the mercenary role well, fooling people thoroughly.
Maybe he truly experienced it, so for this action, Glenn Hutchinson wasn’t worried about her.
Upon hearing Flossie Wright’s casual answer, Rowdy Brightwill immediately fell silent, and his tense expression relaxed considerably. However, replacing it was a hint of suspicion that even he hadn’t noticed.
What exactly did Flossie Wright do in those three months away, to understand these Mercenary Corps so well?
"The main person hasn’t arrived, let’s sit first."
Walking over to an empty table near the corner, Flossie Wright said to the three behind her coolly.
The three had no objections and sat down next to Flossie.
Meanwhile, Ice led over a portion of people, who also found other places to sit.
The atmosphere here was already lively. With a group of big guys gathered together, no matter how tense the atmosphere, once a drink was downed, the conversation would open up. They could talk about anything, but listening to their chat filled with various dialects, one could guess they were discussing the details of this mission.
Flossie Wright’s hearing was decent, and in the midst of the noise, she could accurately pick out the information she wanted. But after listening for a while, she still couldn’t obtain any desired information, so she had to give up and refocus.
By this time, the people around the table gradually began to chat.
"Want a drink?" Belinda Nichols, sitting to one side, casually poured Flossie Wright a cup of spirits.
Flossie Wright declined.

Her alcohol tolerance was notoriously low. She had only practiced drinking a few times during Anonymous’s celebrations, each time ending in failure. Flossie Wright had long given up on the existence of alcohol—something that numbs the nerves.
However, just as she refused, when Belinda took the cup back, she directly raised it and downed the entire glass of spirits in one go.
