"Daddy, when are you coming back?!"

After a pause, the child, being very sensible, added, "Daddy, can you come home after dinner? Auntie seems a bit distressed today and she ate all the food in the house."
With a slight movement of his eyebrows, Glenn Hutchinson didn’t hesitate and simply replied, "Ok."
After a while, the child appeared to be uncertain, and cautiously asked, "Can I see you before I go to bed?"
"Yes." Glenn Hutchinson responded softly.
Even though his words were few, his voice was incredibly tender.
The child didn’t continue to pester Glenn Hutchinson, as if there was some unspoken understanding between them. Once he finished saying what he wanted to say, he quickly said goodbye to Glenn Hutchinson and hung up the phone himself.
Rowdy Brightwill pretended to be eating, but listened attentively to their conversation without missing a word. It was as if every word could be used against Glenn Hutchinson.
But, after listening to the end he had to admit, even though he didn’t particularly like Glenn Hutchinson, the child he raised was really sensible. It was just that the way he played the father’s role was a little bit unfitting.
Would it kill him to have a warm conversation with his child?
After a while, seeing Glenn Hutchinson had no intention of explaining, curiosity began to itch at Rowdy Brightwill. Therefore, he took the initiative to approach Glenn and asked, raising an eyebrow, "Do you have a child? How old? Is he illegitimate or something left behind by a former wife?"
